Traffic stop on ATV arrest - Laurel County

 

 

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Rick Cloyd arrested Bradley Taft age 33 of Horse Creek Road, Corbin on Saturday night March 21, 2015 at approximately 8:21 P.M.

The arrest occurred off Horse Creek Rd, approximately 8 miles south of London after Deputy Cloyd conducted a traffic stop on an off road red colored Honda four wheeler where he determined that the driver was operating on suspended operator's license.

Bradley Taft was charged with operating an off-road vehicle on a public highway, operating an ATV without headgear, permitting a passenger on an ATV without headgear, and driving on DUI suspended license – first offense.

In addition, during the traffic stop Deputy Cloyd learned that this subject was wanted on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court regarding a charge of possession of controlled substance third degree first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia, and a second bench warrant of arrest from Knox County for failure to appear in court on the traffic violation.

Bradley Taft was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
