‘It’s Money, Baby’ booklets promote financial literacy

FRANKFORT, Ky.  — “It’s Money, Baby,” a booklet about financial literacy, is available free from the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA).

It can be used with students as part of April’s National Financial Literacy Month activities.

The 32-page booklet includes sections about such topics as:

  • Cash basics.
  • Banking.
  • Credit.
  • Insurance.
  • Fraud and identity theft.

KHEAA is the state agency that administers the Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES), need-based grants and other programs to help students pay their higher education expenses.
