A "Sheriff's Most Wanted" captured - Laurel County

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Detective Jason Back , Laurel Sheriff's Special Response Unit, and other deputies on Wednesday morning April 8th, 2015 arrested Robert A. McFadden (alias-Turtle) age 37 of London who was wanted for the importation and distribution of crystal meth, and the use of an underage female for drug trafficking.

Subject had stated he would not be taken alive, and would take as many with him as he could. Subject was placed on the "Sheriff's Most Wanted List".

Thanks to numerous tips from the public, and assistance provided by London Laurel County Crime Stoppers, this subject was captured and is lodged in the Laurel County Detention Facility.

Sheriff's Office Personnel involved in the arrest included: The Special Response Unit (Maj. Rodney Van Zant, Capt. Chuck Johnson, Detective Jason Back, Deputy John Inman, & Deputy Kevin Berry).

Also assisting was Lieut. Greg Poynter.

Detective Jason Back is the case officer.
