Reverend Carl Henson, 65, of Manchester, KY passed away Tuesday, April 14th, 2015 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.
He was a 25 year employee of the Clay County Board Of Education as a bus driver. Brother Carl Henson was a long time Holiness anointed preacher here in Clay and surrounding counties. Brother Carl Lead in countless revivals, funeral and wedding, leading many people to the Lord.
Mr. Henson is survived by his loving wife Betty Sue Henson. Two daughter also survive Carla McQueen, husband Scotty and Patricia Neil Hughes of Manchester. Two grandsons also survive Peyton and Ethan Joseph Hughes.
Mr. Henson is also survived by the following brothers and sisters. Opal Wagers, Amel Henson, Hiram Henson, Herman Henson, Jeweldine Link, Glady's France all of Manchester, Ky. Leonard Henson, London and Herles Henson, Waco, Ky.
Mr. Henson was preceded in death by his parents Frank Henson and Nancy Smith Henson and the following brothers and sisters. Sarah Collins, Ethel Wagers, Taylor Henson, Eva Henson, Pauline Henson, Pearl Henson, Lesilene Henson, Geraldine Henson and Leonor Henson.
Funeral services for Rev. Carl Henson will be held at 12:00 Noon Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with the following people officiating. Dudley Lynch, Sill Lee, Billy King, Danny Stewart, Sam Estep, Doctor Amon Couch, Raleigh Coffee, Rufus Slusher, Jimmy Smith and Ebb Potter. Burial will follow in the Stewart-Smith cemetery on Gregory Branch
Visitation for Carl Henson will be at 6:00 PM Friday April 17, 2015 and 5:00 PM Saturday April 18, 2015 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
