(Wilmore, KY) – The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was called just after 1:30 am this morning in reference to an officer involved shooting in Wilmore, KY.
The initial investigation indicates that two Wilmore Police Officers responded to a residence on Hinkle Street just before 1:15 am. When officers arrived, an armed subject confronted the police outside the residence, resulting in the suspect being shot. The suspect was transported to St. Joseph Jessamine Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is ongoing and being conducted by the Kentucky State Police.
