Criminal trespassing / Disorderly conduct - Laurel County

 

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Ddeputy Kyle Gray arrested Karl Hubbard age 50 of Swiss Colony Ln., London on Saturday evening April 18, 2015 at approximately 7:03 P.M.

The arrest occurred off Slate lick Road, approximately 7 miles north of London after Deputy Gray was dispatched to a complaint that a male subject was trespassing at a residence after he had been told not to be there.

When Deputy Gray arrived at the scene, and entered the residence, he failed to locate the homeowner, but did encounter a locked door to a back bedroom.

Moments later the homeowner arrived and Deputy Gray retrieved a pass key to open the locked bedroom, and upon a search in that area located a male subject hiding in the bathroom off that bedroom.

Deputy Gray arrested Karl Hubbard charging him with criminal trespassing – second-degree; disorderly conduct – second-degree; and public intoxication – controlled substances.

As Deputy Gray placed this subject in custody to escort him outside to the police car, he began yelling, and cursing and making threats toward the homeowner.

Karl Hubbard was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
