Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that deputy Kyle Gray arrested Randy Campbell age 43 of Waterworks Road, London on Sunday night April 19, 2015 at approximately 10:17 P.M.
The arrest occurred off Parker Road, approximately 3 miles west of London following an investigation conducted by Deputy Gray. Earlier Deputy Gray responded to a complaint that several items had been stolen from a garage at a residence on Parker Road.
When Deputy Gray arrived at the residence and conducted an investigation he learned that 2 neighbors in the area had apparently observed a vehicle and a male subject at a garage where several items had been stolen.
The neighbors had also taken pictures of the suspect vehicle and its license plate.
Items taken included tire rims, 2 weed eaters and a drill.
The 2 neighbors confronted the male suspect, who then unloaded the items from the vehicle and left the scene.
Deputy Gray was able to locate the suspect vehicle and the suspect a short distance from the residence in a ditch.
Randy Campbell was charged with burglary – third-degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
