Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Tommy Houston along with Constable Chris Webb arrested Anitta Perry age 26 of Arkle Hollow Road, Gray, Ky on Monday night April 20, 2015 at approximately 9:14 P.M.
The arrest occurred off S. Laurel Rd. approximately 5 miles south of London after officers received a complaint that a female subject was apparently passed out in a business parking lot.
Prior to officers arrival this subject left the business parking lot driving a black colored Jeep grand Cherokee and was observed by Deputy Houston on S. Laurel Rd. traveling at an extremely slow rate of speed and crossing the center line twice.
Deputy Houston conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and conducted an investigation on its driver determining that she was under the influence. Anitta Perry was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense: careless driving; failure to wear seatbelts; and other traffic violations and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
