Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Larry Parrott along with Deputy Brandon Broughton arrested a London man on Wednesday afternoon April 22, 2015 at approximately 3:55 P.M.
Arrested was Eddie Gilliam age 50 of Delmas Gilliam Road, London, KY.
The arrest occurred off Delmas Gilliam Road approximately 2 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint that this subject was at his mother's residence and had assaulted her, and was intoxicated.
When deputies arrived at the scene they learned that this subject had fled the scene, however deputies located him nearby and arrested him.
Eddie Gilliam was charged with assault – fourth degree – domestic violence and alcohol intoxication and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
