Golden Alert - Laurel County, KY

 

 

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting a "Golden Alert" has been issued for a male subject reported missing on Saturday night April 25, 2015 at approximately 9:50 P.M.

It was reported to Deputy Kyle Gray that this subject was last seen on South Laurel Road walking toward Fariston. This subject has numerous medical conditions.

He is identified as George Peace age 51 originally from Harlan, but has been staying in London.

He is described as 5'10", 217 pounds, medium build, blue eyes, short gray hair. Wearing a black jacket with a white stripe down the sleeve,black shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes.

If anyone observes this missing individual, they are asked to call the Laurel County Sheriff's office at 606-864-6600 or 606-878-7000.

This man went missing earlier today and was found near Lily.

London Laurel Rescue Squad is assisting on the search.

Laurel County Emergency Management is assisting on the investigation also.

Investigation is continuing.
