Resisting arrest and violation of a court order - Laurel County, KY

 

 

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Shawn Jackson arrested a Corbin man early Saturday morning April 25, 2015 at approximately 12:07 A.M.

Arrested was: Luke Frenz age 31 Byerly Road, Corbin, KY.

The arrest occurred off West Cumberland Gap Parkway. approximately 11 miles south of London after Deputy Jackson was dispatched to a complaint that a male subject was at a residence in violation of a domestic violence order and a court order.

When Deputy Jackson arrived in the vicinity of the complaint he observed the suspect driving a black infinity G 20, and observed the vehicle to have one headlight, a loud muffler and the vehicle was weaving on the roadway.

Deputy Jackson conducted a traffic stop and determined that this subject was under the influence.

Upon arrest, the subject resisted arrest and following a brief scuffle with Deputy Jackson was taken into custody.

Luke Frenz was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – second offense; driving on DUI suspended license – first offense; one headlight; careless driving; inadequate silencer; resisting arrest; and violation of a court order.

Luke Frenz was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
