Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Rick Cloyd arrested Elizabeth North age 49 of Pittsburgh School Road, London on Wednesday evening April 29, 2015 at approximately 5:43 P.M.
The arrest occurred off Felts School Road, approximately 10 miles south of London after Deputy Cloyd was dispatched to a complaint of a subject sitting in the roadway with pill bottles.
When Deputy Cloyd arrived in the vicinity of the complaint he observed this subject staggering in the roadway and conducted an investigation determining that this subject was under the influence.
Elizabeth North was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances and was lodged in the Laurel County detention Center.
