Complaint of male subject slumped over steering wheel - Laurel County, KY

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Detective Kevin Berry along with Deputy Shawn Boroviak and Deputy John Inman arrested Bryan Warren age 33 of Appaloosa Trail, Corbin, on Thursday morning May 7, 2015 at approximately 10:06 A.M.

The arrest occurred off Appaloosa Trail approximately 13 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a male subject slumped over the steering wheel of an orange colored Ford truck in the old American Greeting Card parking lot.

EMS were also dispatched to this complaint.

EMS apparently arrived on the scene prior to deputies arrival and observed the orange colored pickup leave the scene on the wrong side of the road.

Deputies were able to locate the suspect vehicle off Appaloosa Trail noting that this subject was in the driver's seat of the vehicle upon their arrival.

An investigation was conducted and the driver was determined to be under the influence.

Bryan Warren was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense; and possession of a controlled substance third degree.

Bryan Warren was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
