Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Jonathan Smith age 23 E. of 4th St., London on Monday night May 11, 2015 at approximately 8:39 P.M.
The arrest occurred on W. 7th St. in London after Deputy Houston received a complaint that this subject had allegedly slammed a door to the lobby area of the Laurel County Detention Center making it inoperable and had fled the scene running toward Main Street.
Deputy Houston located this subject and conducted an investigation determining that he was under the influence.
Jonathan Smith was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances and criminal mischief – third-degree. Jonathan Smith was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
