Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Charlie Johnson assisted with safety and security at the annual Laurel Lake Cleanup held around Laurel Lake on Saturday, May 16, 2015.
Approximately 150 persons were on hand to conduct cleanup around the lake. Sheriff Root pledges the support of his department on community service projects such as these around Laurel County.
Deputy Johnson included some photos of the cleanup efforts as he made his rounds.
