Fatal Crash in Rockcastle County, KY - Six Commercial Vehicles and one passenger car

(Mount Vernon, KY) Officers from KSP Vehicle Enforcement are on the scene of a fatal crash located on I-75 at the 71 mile marker in Rockcastle Co. Kentucky. I-75 is closed and being rerouted from I-75 in Berea (South) via US 25 to Mount Vernon.

*The Driver of the passenger car who was pronounced dead on the scene was 34 year old Jonathan D. Roark Barbourville Kentucky.

*No other information is available at this time as soon as next of kin is notified I will pass along the information of second person.

Six Commercial Vehicles and one passenger car is involved. Two People are dead at this time. More information will be made available upon notification of next of Kin.

A long delay is expected as Vehicle Enforcements accident reconstructionist and clean up crews work to clear the scene.
