Man alledgly discharges firearm outside apartment - Clay County



Manchester, Ky. - MPD is reporting that on Saturday, May 30, 2015 Manchester Police Department Officers responded to the Raintree Apartment complex to investigate a possible shot fired complaint.

Upon arrival officers located a male and a female in the parking lot and questioned the two about the noise.

While speaking with the two, it was determined there had been a verbal altercation between two males outside one of the apartments when one man fired a shot from a .223 rifle near the other.

After the shot was fired the two separated and that's when officers arrived.

Police arrested Justin Chambers, of Manchester and charged him with alcohol intoxication in a public place, menacing, disorderly conduct 1st degree, and wanton endangerment 1st degree. MPD Sgt. Jeff Collett is the lead investigator and was assisted at the scene by MPD Officer Jeff Senters and Clay County Sheriff's Deputy Paul Michael Whitehead.
