Shoplifting suspect in Laurel County allegedly stated she had on really big underpants and that is how she was concealing all the items

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Shawn Jackson along with Sgt. Brett Reeves arrested Donna Sizemore age 47 Maple Grove Rd., London early Monday morning June 8, 2015 at approximately 3:30 AM.

The arrest occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Walmart's loss prevention team detained this subject.

When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation they learned that this subject had allegedly been observed concealing items below the waistband of her pants.

Deputies also learned that this subject stated she had on really big underpants and that is how she was concealing all the items.

This subject told deputies that she had walked all the way from Keavy to steal the electronic items. Total value of the theft was $152.62.

This subject told deputies that she had been taking Klonopin.

Deputies determined she was under the influence. Donna Sizemore was charged with theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting and public intoxication – controlled substances and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
