Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Robbie Grimes along with Deputy Brandon Broughton arrested Jessica Lee age 25 of Bacon Creek Rd., Corbin on Tuesday afternoon June 9, 2015 at approximately 4:45 P.M.
The arrest occurred off Glenn Lane, approximately 4 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to a domestic violence complaint there.
When deputies arrived at the scene they learned that the victim's daughter, allegedly struck her in the face and fled the scene before deputies arrived.
Deputies noted a visible bruise on the victim's face.
Approximately 30 minutes later, deputies were again called to the scene – allegedly the suspect had returned to the scene and was beating on the door.
When deputies arrived the second time they located and arrested the suspect.
Jessica Lee is charged with assault – fourth degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
