Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Brett Reeves along with Deputy Andrew Lawson assisted by a KSP CVE officer arrested Kendra Carver age 24 of Campground Court, Apartments, Corbin early Thursday morning June 11, 2015 at approximately 5:22 A.M.
The arrest occurred while deputies were investigating a missing juvenile complaint from the Corbin Manor Apartments off American Greeting Card road.
The investigation led officers to the Campground Court, Apartments approximately 3 miles away where deputies found the reported missing juvenile female and three other male juveniles (2 hiding in a bathroom) along with this adult female.
While officers conducted their investigation there, they noticed the odor of marijuana and observed a marijuana cigarette in an ashtray.
In addition, officers located marijuana and 2 marijuana pipes.
Kendra Carver was charged with unlawful transaction with a minor third degree; possession of marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
