Man previously convicted of manufacturing methamphetamine caught again

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Detective Jason Back while assisting Kentucky Probation and Parole arrested Paul Depew age 45 of Nazareth Hill Rd., London on June 23, 2015 at approximately 1:09 P.M.

The arrest occurred off Nazareth Hill Road in the limits of London after this subject was found to be in possession of crystal meth, and items used to manufacture methamphetamine including Coleman fuel, used ice packs, empty packs of cold medicine, plastic tubing, a funnel, broken plastic coat hangers, latex gloves, and a bottle with white residue inside and lids used for an HCL generator.

Through investigation it was determined that this subject had previously been convicted of manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine in 2010.

Paul Depew was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine first offense; possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense – methamphetamine; and persistent felony offender I, and was lodged in the Laurel County detention Center.
