Manchester, Ky. - MPD is reporting that on July 9, 2015 Manchester Police Department Officers Jimmy Smith and Jeff Couch were dispatched to the Memorial Hospital to deal with a individual that was going through the medical trays and cabinets taking items.
Upon arrival Manchester Memorial Hospital security Jeff Culver and Paul Micheal Whitehead had Micheal D. Allen detained in a room.
It was determined that Micheal D. Allen had taken medication and a scalpel from the hospital.
It was also determined that Micheal D. Allen had a felony warrant for his arrest for theft and burglary.
Micheal Allen age 47 of Oneida, KY was charged with theft, theft of a legend drug, and prescription drugs not in the proper container on the hospital theft.
