Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Danny Hicks age 42 of Whitt Cemetery Rd., London on Sunday evening July 12, 2015 at approximately 7:07 PM.
The arrest occurred off Whitt Cemetery Road, approximately 5 miles west of London after Deputy Houston assisted social services with a referral at this location.
Following investigation, Deputy Houston learned that there had been three children all under the age of 10 in the residence when this subject stated that he had just finished smoking a marijuana cigarette.
Deputy Houston determined that this subject was under the influence.
Danny Hicks was charged with endangering the welfare of minor and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
The three children were placed with this subject's parents.
