(LONDON, KY.) – On Monday, July 13, 2015, at approximately 7:35 AM Kentucky State Police Post 11, London was notified of a residential structure fire with a fatality on KY HWY 577 in the Sextons Creek Community of Clay County.
KSP Arson Investigator Detective Brian Lewis along with Detective Nick Metcalf arrived on the scene and discovered the victim Lawrence Sizemore, 68, of Sextons Creek deceased inside the residence.
The cause of the fire and death has not been determined at this time, however foul play is suspected. An autopsy has been scheduled for today in Frankfort.
KSP Detective Nick Metcalf is in charge of the investigation and was assisted at the scene by KSP SGT Greg Hill, KSP Arson Investigator Detective Brian Lewis, Detective Justin Oliver, Clay County Coroner Danny Finley and the Burning Springs Fire Department.
