KSP Charges Jefferson Co. Man With Possession And Distribution of Child Pornography

(Louisville, Ky.)— On July 15, 2015, at approximately 8:10 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch, assisted by the Jeffersontown Police Dept., arrested Rosalio Martinez-Bruno, 39, on charges related to possession and distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

Martinez-Bruno was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online. The images included prepubescent children engaged in sexual acts.

The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Martinez-Bruno’s residence on July 15, 2015. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.

Martinez-Bruno is currently charged with 20 counts of possession and five counts of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. All charges are Class D felonies, with each count punishable by one to five years in prison.

Martinez-Bruno was lodged in the Jefferson County Detention Center. His booking photo is available through the detention center’s website.
