Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that court security officer Roy Ball along with court security officer Paige VanHook arrested Bret Philpot Watkins age 36 Rough Creek Rd., London on Thursday morning July 16, 2015 at approximately 11:56 AM.
The subject was arrested at the Laurel County Judicial Center after he walked into the building to meet with a pretrial officer and court security officers determined that he was under the influence.
This subject admitted taking Suboxone prior to his arrival at the courthouse.
Bret Philpot Watkins was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
