Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Paul D. Vaughn age 50 VCR Lane, East Bernstadt early Sunday morning July 19, 2015 at approximately 1:47 AM.
The arrest occurred off White Oak road, approximately 5 miles west of London after Deputy Houston conducted a traffic stop on a black colored Jeep Wrangler and determined that the driver had an outstanding warrant of arrest.
Paul Vaughn was charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest on a case investigated by Sheriff's Detective Kevin Berry where allegedly this subject took a Murray riding lawnmower valued at $600 from a victim in Laurel County.
Paul Vaughn was also charged on traffic violations and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
