(Harlan, Ky.) - On July 20, 2015, at 1:15 A.M. Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received a call from the Harlan County Detention Center.
The Detention Center was requesting an ambulance for an unresponsive inmate, Darrell Wayne Johnson age 49.
Mr. Johnson was transported to Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No foul play is suspected and an autopsy will be conducted.
Case is still under investigation by Det. Josh Brashears.
