Injury crash on Tom Cat Trail

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Tommy Houston investigated a two vehicle injury traffic crash which occurred on Tom Trail ( Ky 1305) on Friday evening July 17, 2015 at approximately 6:04 PM.

Deputy Houston reports that apparently a tan colored Chevrolet pickup collided with a blue colored Ford Fusion as the two vehicles met in a curve.

Apparently, the driver of the tan colored Chevrolet pickup may have experienced a medical event causing her to blackout or faint before the collision.  She was identified as: Jamie Hill age 18 of Tom Cat Trail, London was trapped in her vehicle and had to be extricated and was transported by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment of possible injuries.

Occupants in the blue colored Ford Fusion were identified as: Tricia Marcum age 26 of Blackwater Rd., London and was transported by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment of possible injuries. A 6 month old male baby was also transported by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment of possible injuries.

Assisting at the scene was Bush Fire Department, London-Laurel County Rescue Squad, and Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County.
