Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that court security officer Brad Mink and court security officer James Alewine arrested Michael Buchanan age 34 of Valentine Hollow, Barbourville on Monday morning July 20, 2015 at approximately 11:35 AM.
The arrest occurred at the Laurel County Judicial Center after this subject attempted to enter the building and while passing through the security checkpoint, court security officers located this subject in possession of marijuana.
Michael Buchanan was charged with possession of marijuana and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
