Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Rick Cloyd along with Sgt. Larry Parrott and Deputy Milton Storm arrested Melissa Helton age 20 of Siler Hill Rd., Corbin on Thursday night July 30, 2015 at approximately 9:45 P.M.
The arrest occurred on W. Cumberland Gap Pkwy., approximately 10 miles south of London after deputies conducted a traffic stop on a black Chevrolet car and learned that an occupant in the vehicle was wanted on an outstanding Knox County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court.
Melissa Helton was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
