(Bowling Green, KY) - On Saturday, August 15, 2015 at approx. 10:23 P.M. the Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green received a call from a female at 383 Fordes Crossing Road in Warren County stating there was a subject there with a gunshot wound.
While units were responding it was learned that the subjects Troopers were responding to assist were involved in a vehicle collision at Fairview and the Bypass in the limits of Bowling Green with another vehicle.
Selena Drexel (43) of Bowling Green was arrested from the scene by Trooper Harrison Wells where she was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence Alcohol/Drugs 1st Offense, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, and Failure to Produce Insurance Card.
A male subject was transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the abdomen. No further information is available for release in this investigation at this time.
The investigation is still ongoing and being led by Detective Wesley Medley. The vehicle collision is being investigated by the Bowling Green Police Department.
