Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Travis Napier arrested Heather Wagers, age 39, Of Anglers Rd., Corbin, on Friday night, August 21, 2015, at approximately 7:33 PM.
The arrest occurred off Ky 1394 approximately 8 miles north of London after Deputy Napier was dispatched to a complaint that a female was walking down KY 1394 knocking on the doors of homes along that road.
When Deputy Napier arrived in the vicinity, he located this subject walking down KY 1394 and conducted an investigation. This subject advised that she was knocking on the doors of homes and that she had taken something, but did not know what it was.
Deputy Napier determined that she was under the influence. Heather Wagers was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances, and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
