EKU Again Ranks in Top Tier of Southern Regional Universities

Eastern Kentucky University again ranks in the top tier of Regional Universities in the South in the 2015 edition of “Best Colleges,” published by U.S. News & World Report.

EKU ranks 62nd among 92 universities in the top tier. This is the fifth consecutive year that Eastern has placed in the top tier. The 2015 edition of the Best Colleges will be available on newsstands Sept. 23. For a full list of the rankings, visit www.usnews.com/colleges.

The 2015 Best Colleges package compares more than 1,400 accredited four-year schools on a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence. Among the many factors weighed in determining the rankings, the key measures of quality are peer assessment, graduation and retention rates, class size, student-faculty ratio, and alumni giving.
