London, KY - On Monday, September 14th, 2015, around 18:00 hours, Officer Wendell Hunter with KSP-Vehicle Enforcement stopped a 2015 Ford Van white in color for speeding on I-75 near the 25 mile marker in Whitley County, Kentucky.
During the traffic stop, officer Hunter smelled an odor of marijuana coming from inside the driver compartment of the vehicle. Further check found 68 year old Terry E. Grant of Mount Dora, Florida unable to pass a sobriety test and driving under the influence of drugs.
Further investigation found 2 large sandwich bags of marijuana along with a marijuana smoke pipe located inside the passenger compartment of the vehicle. Terry E Grant was arrested without further incident and charged with: Speeding, Carless Driving, No Seat Belt, Possession of Marijuana, DUI and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Grant was lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.
