Crash resulting in injuries - Laurel County, KY

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Josh Scott is investigating a two vehicle injury traffic crash which occurred on US 25, approximately 9 miles south of London on Tuesday morning, September 15, 2015, at approximately 11:00 AM.

The investigating deputy reports that apparently a gold colored S-10 pickup pulled out from KY 2392 onto US 25 into the path of a northbound black pickup truck. The two vehicles collided and the black pickup truck overturned.

The driver of the gold colored S-10 pickup was identified as Brandy Hembree, age 21, of Corbin was not injured.

The driver of the black colored pickup was identified as: Dora Miracle, age 66, of Pineville, KY was transported to Baptist Healthcare in Corbin for treatment of injuries.

A passenger in that vehicle, Willard Thacker, age 73, of Frakes, KY was also transported to Baptist Healthcare in Corbin for treatment of injuries.

Assisting at the scene of the crash was Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County and West Knox Volunteer Fire Department.
