Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Detective Jason Back arrested Carla McWhorter 38 of Murray Cemetery, East Bernstadt on Monday afternoon September 21, 2015 at approximately 4:02 PM.
The arrest was the result of this subject being charged on a Kentucky parole violation warrant charging absconding parole supervision and failure to attend treatment for substance abuse.
This subject had previously been convicted in circuit court for unlawful possession of meth precursor – first offense; and bail jumping – first-degree.
Carla McWhorter was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
