Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Josh Scott and Deputy John Inman arrested Erik Anderson, age 20, of Eaton Fork Rd., Woodbine, on Tuesday afternoon, September 28, 2015, at approximately 2:21 PM.

The arrest occurred off of American Greeting Card Road, approximately 10 miles south of London after Deputy Scott arrested this subject following an investigation conducted where he was dispatched to contact a female victim at Baptist Healthcare Hospital labor and birthing department.
The female victim there, who was 31 weeks pregnant, stated that her boyfriend had assaulted her, and had held her against her will inside the apartment shared by the two for approximately 3 days with no food in order to hide the marks of abuse.
The victim had visible bruising on her face and legs. In addition, the victim stated that her boyfriend had made threats to punch her in the stomach and kill the baby if he went to jail.
Erik Anderson was charged with unlawful imprisonment – first-degree; assault – fourth degree – domestic violence; and wanton endangerment – first-degree.
Erik Anderson was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
