KSP - The Crews Family Increase the Reward in Their Son's Death

Henderson, KY (Henderson County) - The Crews' family have increased the reward money for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of their son, Blake Crews. This reward, in conjunction with the Henderson County Crime Stoppers reward, brings the total up to $15,000.

KSP detectives are still actively pursuing leads in this case but we respectfully request assistance from the public. We encourage anyone with knowledge of this case to contact Kentucky State Police Post 16 at 270.826.3312 or anonymously 800-222-5555.

Henderson, KY (Henderson County) - The Crews' family has posted $5,000 reward money for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the death of their son, Blake Crews. This reward, in conjunction with the Henderson County Crime Stoppers reward, brings the total to $6,000.

The Crews family has expressed to investigators that they are not ready to discuss this case with any media outlets yet but are very appreciative of all the publicity and respect shown.

Update: Arrests Made Stemming From Crews Murder Investigation

Henderson, KY (Henderson County) - Two others have turned themselves in to authorities today in connection to the Crew's Murder Investigation.

James Luke Eblen, 20 of Henderson. Charged: Trafficking Marijuana (less than 8 ounces) 1st Off; Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Jonathan Poole, 27 of Henderson. Charged: Failure of person to report the death of a person (B-misdemeanor). Both are lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.

Garrett Eblen, 25 of Henderson. Charged: Failure of person to report the death of a person (B-misdemeanor).

Dominick A. Dixon, 22 of Henderson. Charged: Failure of person to report the death of a person (B-misdemeanor). Both are lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.

Arrests Made Stemming From Crews Murder Investigation

Henderson, KY (Henderson County) - Kentucky State Police detectives arrested four men on charges relating to the murder investigation of Blake Crews.

Below is a list of suspects who have been arrested. They are currently lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center:

Andrew N. Jaco, 24, of Henderson. Charged: Failure of person to report the death of a person (B-misdemeanor) and Possession of drug paraphernalia.

Cory L. Pederson, 25, of Henderson. Charged: Failure of person to report the death of a person (B-misdemeanor); Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia (firearm enhanced).

Jacob McLaughlin, 21, of Henderson. Charged: Possession of synthetic drugs (marijuana) and drug paraphernalia.

Sean P. Barnett, 20, Henderson. Charged: Failure of person to report the death of a person (B-misdemeanor).

KSP detectives have secured additional warrants and are actively looking for those suspects at large.

The Kentucky State Police were assisted today by KSP's Special Operations (canine team); KSP's Drug Enforcement/Special Investigations and ATF.

Update: Death Investigation in Henderson County

Date of News Release: 01/18/2015

(Henderson, KY) -- The autopsy of the victim was completed today (01/18/2015) in Louisville. He is identified as 20 year-old Blake G. Crews of Henderson. He died of multiple gunshot wounds to the face.

Death Investigation in Henderson County

Date of News Release: 01/17/2015

(Henderson, KY) -- Kentucky State Police responded to a burglary in progress in the 500 block area of Fairmont Ave. Upon arrival, the Trooper observed an open door and located a deceased male inside the residence on the floor. No one else was located in the residence. The investigation is ongoing. Detectives are following up on leads. The victim's name is not being release until the next of kin have been notified. An autopsy has been scheduled for Sunday, January 18th. This incident is being investigated as a murder.
