Clay County, KY - MPD is reporting via Facebook that Manchester Police Department officers located Bobby Barger, age 35, at a residence on Coal Hollow Road in the Beech Creek area of Manchester.
Police were searching for Barger due to the fact that they believed he assaulted a 6 year old female.
According the MPD Facebook report, when the officers arrived Barger ran out the back door and into the woods where they searched the area for approximately 45 minutes before Officer Jeff Senters located Barger and made the arrest without further incident.
The Manchester Police Department, when contacted by ClayCoNews regarding the time of Barger's arrest, was informed by MPD dispatch that in order for them to release any information to ClayCoNews, we would have to get an attorney and obtain a subpoena.
However, according to the department's Facebook page Barger's capture was announced shortly before 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.
At the time of this post, Clay County Detention records do not indicate that Barger has been booked into the facility.
