Deputies make arrests at Clay County Sheriff's Office


Manchester, KY - Sheriff Kevin Johnson is reporting that on Thursday, October 8, 2015 Chief Deputy Chris Curry and Deputy Tabert Napier arrested a male & female after the pair came into the Clay County Sheriff's Office so that one of them could be released off of home incarceration.

Arrested were:

George Robinson age 41 and Jennifer Robinson age 31 both of Beech Creek Apartments.

The arrest occurred after the two came into the Sheriff's Office so Mr. Robinson could be taken off of home incarceration.

While releasing Mr. Robinson the two seemed to have slurred speech, and were very un-steady on their feet.

Upon Further investigation it appeared that Mr. and Mrs. Robinson were under the influence of narcotics and were arrested for Public Intoxication and lodged into the Clay County Detention Center.

NOTE: The lady referred to in this article as Jennifer Robinson age 31, was, according to jail records, booked into the facility as Jennifer Kay Ross age 31.
