Three Arrests by Clay County Sheriff's Deputies

Clay County, KY - Sheriff Kevin Johnson is reporting that in the evening hours on Wednesday October 14, 2015 Deputy Taye Napier and Chief Deputy Chris Curry arrested three subjects from the south end of the county.

Arrested was:

Kimberly Ann Marcum age 40, Jody Sevier age 33, and John Holland age 33. 

The arrests occurred when the deputies went to Ms. Marcum's residence in reference to the whereabouts of John Holland, whom was on home incarceration. Ms. Marcum was responsible for signing the paper work, to have Mr. Holland work for her.

Upon speaking with Ms. Marcum she advised that Mr. Holland had left the residence prior to the deputies arrival.

Upon further questioning of Ms. Marcum about what type of work Mr. Holland had done for her, the deputies noticed a strong smell of a chemical odor and then proceeded to do a welfare check, (present at the residence were a male subject - Jody Sevier and two female subjects one being a juvenile which was a child of Ms. Marcum).

After further investigation in a building beside the home, the deputies noticed a liquid drain cleaner, amonia nitrate, coleman fuel, various funnels, plastic baggies, and a butane torch which was on the porch of the residence.

Kimberly Marcum was arrested for (Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st Offense), and (Traf Cont Sub, 1st Degree, 1st Offense.).

Jody Sevier was arrested and charged with (Serving Bench Warrant for Court).

John Holland was later located and charged with (Serving a Benchwarrant For Court).

All three subjects were lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
