Subject passed out in Walmart restroom complaint - Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Larry Parrott arrested Charles Partin age 30 of 16th St., Corbin on October 13, 2015 at approximately 5:44 AM.

The arrest occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Sgt. Parrott received a complaint that a male subject was apparently passed out in the restroom there.

When Sgt. Parrott arrived at the scene he located this subject in front of the store and conducted an investigation determining that he was under the influence.

Sgt. Parrott found this subject in possession of a small bag of crystal methamphetamine, a small bag containing Xanax bars, and a loaded needle that contained Suboxone.

Charles Partin was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; possession of a controlled substance first-degree first offense – methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense; and possession of a controlled substance.

Charles Partin was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
