Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Tommy Houston along with Sgt. Larry Parrott arrested Samantha Doan, age 32, of South Main St., Corbin early Thursday morning, October 15, 2015, at approximately 1:37 AM.

The arrest occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of possible intoxicated individuals there with two small children.
When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation on a female subject there, they determined that she was under the influence. The female subject stated that she had taken her boyfriend's Suboxone and also had taken meth.
Social services was contacted and the children were released to a family member.
Samantha Doan was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
