KSP - *ESCAPED INMATE*



Hopkinsville, KY (Christian County) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) is investigating a state inmate escape that occurred on Monday, October 19, at 9:28 a.m.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that state inmate, Chad William Love, escaped from a Christian County Jail work detail near the Salvation Army in Hopkinsville. KSP troopers along with Hopkinsville Police Department officers and Christian County Sheriff’s deputies are currently searching an area near Main Street and First Baptist Church in Hopkinsville.

Love is described as a white male, 5’10”, 172 lbs., with blue eyes, short brown hair, and a medium build. Love was convicted in Christian County for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card Over $500 but less than $10,000.

Love has previous felony convictions for assault, burglary, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, forgery, theft, and receiving stolen property. KSP requests the public not to approach this offender if he is found due to his previous violent tendencies.

KSP requests the public call 9-1-1 or 1-800-222-5555 if you know the whereabouts of Love, or have any information concerning his escape.
