Three arrested on warrants in Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Rick Cloyd arrested three individuals on Saturday night, October 25, 2015, at approximately 7:51 PM off West Cumberland Gap Pkwy., approximately 10 miles south of London.

Deputy Cloyd was dispatched to investigate a suspicious persons complaint at a truck stop there. When Deputy Cloyd arrived at the scene and located the individuals involved, he conducted an investigation and determined that all three subjects were wanted on outstanding warrants.

Arrested was: William Veach age 62 of WhetStone Rd., Rockhold, KY, charged on a Whitley County warrant of arrest charging criminal mischief – third-degree.

Also arrested was a female subject: Michelle Neal age 39 of Tyes Ferry road, Rockhold, KY, charged on a Whitley County bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court.

In addition, a third person arrested was identified as: Alishia Mcelfresh age 39 Of Short St., Rockhold, KY, charged on a Christian County warrant of arrest charging driving on DUI suspended license – first offense.

All three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
