(Richmond, KY) — On Friday, November 6, 2015, shortly before 2:00 a.m. EST, Richmond Police Officer Daniel Ellis passed away, while at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
The Richmond Police Department is extremely grateful for the prayers and support that have been extended to Officer Daniel Ellis, his family, friends, and fellow officers. They ask that you continue to pray for them as they grieve this tremendous loss, and that the privacy of the family is respected during this very difficult and trying time.
Funeral arrangements will be planned during the coming days and will be released as soon as they are available.
