Injury crash on Hal Rogers Parkway

Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Josh Scott investigated a two vehicle injury traffic crash which occurred on Hal Rogers Parkway, approximately 2 miles west of London on Tuesday morning November 10, 2015 at approximately 9 A.M.

The investigating deputy reports that apparently a maroon colored Buick Century pulled out from Pine Top Road in front of the path of a black colored 2012 Hyundai car that was traveling westbound on Hal Rogers Parkway. The Buick Century apparently struck the Hyundai. After collision the Hyundai came to rest off the road. The Buick Century came to rest on Pine Top Road off the shoulder of Hal Rogers Parkway.

The Buick Century was driven by Bruce Griffith age 62 of Pine Top Road, London --no injuries reported. A passenger – Josh Asher age 30 of Pine Top Road, London was transported by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment of possible injuries.

The driver of the Hyundai was identified as Douglas Stinson age 36 on Knoxville Tennessee – no injuries reported.

Assisting at the scene of the crash was: Sgt. Brett Reeves Deputy Gilbert Acciardo, Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, and Swiss Colony Volunteer Fire department.
