More stolen property from Jackson Fariston Road burglary found in Clay and Laurel counties

Apparently a large amount of the stolen property from the burglary had been taken to
Clay County and distributed for pills and money

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Detective Kevin Berry and Detective James Sizemore have recovered more stolen property that was taken in a burglary on Monday November 16, 2015 of an out building on Jackson Fariston Road, approximately 3 miles south London.

In that burglary,rods and reels, baits, tools, depth finders and other items had been stolen after forced entry into a metal building. Total value of the theft was over $21,000. Detectives developed information, and later on Tuesday morning early arrested 4 individuals ---

Marty Wagers, Deseray Rogers, Jeannie Rogers, and Lloyd Burkhart.

Through investigation Detective Berry learned that apparently a large amount of the stolen property from the burglary had been taken to Clay County and distributed for pills and money.

Additionally, stolen property from the burglary was recovered behind the residence occupied by Deseray Rogers, Jeannie Rogers and Lloyd Burkhart, and also stolen property was found in a barn across from the residence.

On Wednesday 11-18-15 Detective Kevin Berry and Detective James Sizemore traveled back to Clay County on information they had developed and recovered more stolen property including rods and reels.

On Thursday, November 19, 2015 Detective Kevin Berry and Detective James Sizemore developed information on the whereabouts of more of the stolen property and recovered depth finders and other stolen property off Jackson Fariston Road.

To date, 85% of the stolen property from the burglary has been recovered. Investigation is continuing.
