Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Rick Cloyd along with Deputy Charlie Johnson arrested David Huff age 33 Norwood Dr., Gray, KY on Wednesday afternoon November 18, 2015 at approximately 3:58 PM.

The arrest occurred on Keavy Road approximately 8 miles south of London after this subject was allegedly involved in a traffic crash while driving a red Honda Fit where one subject in his vehicle and one subject in the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Deputies detected the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from this subject and conducted an investigation determining that he was under the influence.
David Huff was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense and operating a vehicle with expired operators license. In addition, this subject was charged on a Kentucky parole violation warrant charging absconding parole supervision, failure to report to parole officer as directed, and failure to comply with treatment program for substance abuse.
David Huff was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
